To cut out the boring stuff, it uses Dolby Digital Plus which is compressed and uses far less bandwidth, which the ARC port can handle just fine.You won't get any uncompressed TrueHD Atmos on Netflix, Sky or any other streaming service.If you have an Atmos soundbar then ensure the TV settings are set to Dolby Digital Plus - not just Dolby Digital.You don't necessarily need EARC for Atmos, you should still get Atmos from DD+, if your TV can handle that or passthrough.
