His downsides are not so small however.
Nonetheless, if something needs a large beam to the face, Illya is one of the best for the job.
Whether his focus is high critical damage, a side-dose of team support or intense anti-Demonic NP damage, Rama can do any combination of them at the same time. Her access to a strong Quick steroid greatly boosts her performance, but with her low base Attack and a lack of access to powerful Quick supports, she still does not have enough firepower to compete with the current upper tier Berserkers in term of raw damage output, even with her fantastic NP generation rate and decent Star generation rate.Furthermore, while she has a high HP base and a self-heal, MHXA still suffers from the same survivability problems that plague most Berserkers with paper thin durability. His baseline performance can already give most of his Rider peers a run for their money, but he becomes truly ridiculous when properly supported, capable of looping his Noble Phantasm with proper support.
That his NP Damage isn't as high as some of his competitors is also far less of an issue when Astolfo is buffed by Skadi. Cleopatra is easily among the best AoE Assassins in the game. Lancelot will then gather these Critical Stars easily, and proceed to slam his enemies with his powerful Critical Damage buff. Masters also have to constantly ask themselves which aspects of her skills are needed most, as each of her skills have longer cooldowns, do two things at once, and last for 1 turn.
Drake is easily one of the best farming Servants in the game thanks to her fantastic self-sufficient kit and the ability to chain her AoE Noble Phantasm in quick succession. But, as capricious as her personality, this Emperor of Roses performance is highly volatile. Whether that is his extraordinarily poor NP Gain, his chance-based Critical potential, or the short duration of his attack buff, it does not truly line up properly. Her use outside of the most challenging content remains limited however, and any quests where damage is key remains Jeanne's largest weakness. His largest problem is the combination of his utterly atrocious Arts cards, which yield a decidedly poor amount of NP Generation. But in reality, this Dark Souls boss in Servant disguise does not excel at any one of those aspects, resulting in a Servant with highly circumstantial usage.Despite his high attack, Avenger of Shinjuku’s sustained damage is less than ideal due to mostly short-lived skill effects. Her relatively low damage can at least be compensated for via offensive support, grails or high level CEs in case wave 2 is especially beefy. Being a rare Servant capable of charging the entire team’s NP bar by up to 20%, Helena is invaluable for farming for any Master without the top gacha farming Servants. His NP itself is capable of piercing through pesky Evasion and Defense skills.
Furthermore, her simple but clear and destructive gameplay allows her to fit in very well into most Buster composition, and work well even on her own. Overall, Elisabeth is a good starter Servant, with female support and decent damage that will last a long time before competitive support options for all card types are available. Nonetheless, her versatility, Arts compatibility, and farming efficiency make her a desirable Servant for many a roster. And, even at his full power, Fionn still requires a large amount of support to reach his full potential.
However, while his deck heavily improves his capacity for destruction, his Star gen and NP gen take a hit, even with his monstrously high NP gain per hit.
