Anything above 175 sounds bad no matter what though.BPM's are not an issue for me, it's the track that is build around it that makes it work or not. I prefer something around 230 BPM, but even 280 can sound superb if the band got technical capability to play it at that speed. I used to dislike trance faster than about 155bpm, but to be honest, I don't think I'd given it enough of a chance. Formed in the 80’s in Goa, India, by the modern hippies of that time, Goa Trance got its global recognition in the mid 90’s. One track I really like above 150 BPM is Blue planet corporation - Lubiantia (it's not really psy or goa though).160... its Portamento and also i think Ethereal - Stream of Life.But my favorite is 145-150... if i do play my music or dj sets i always play on these BPM... thats why D5 are my favorites, mind distortion on 150!
