But after playing USN, then IJN, then German BB lines, you can appreciate how IJN BB shells behave in flight. The traditional "sniper" BBs? It also has great AA plus a Fighter consumable.USN like other people pointed.
However I realize that the tier 3 starting line in all suck, but need some input anyway. The german line is pretty easy to learn all the way up and very competitive imo. Izumo; the last test. Now i know what to invest my time inIn terms of best overall, probably have to give the nod to IJN. Perhaps the search should be "which tier has the most effective guns" not "accurate. Okay maybe the Montana...USA...USA are OP in every line, because USA...if Wargaming wasn't founded in Minsk id cry favoritismNew comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be castA game about huge boats. General characteristics: German armor schemes are optimized for short range engagements...it is very difficult to citadel German BBs and gets harder the closer you are. NC cannot use ASM1 or the Tier IX-X USN BB mod to reduce dispersion. Fuso's a shock after Kongo, slow as molasses, but she has 12 rather than 8 guns and she can reach our very far, once upgraded from perhaps the worst A-hull in the game (soon to be removed hurray!)
But you end with the Montana, which is an extremely strong ship that does okay in the current meta.French or IJN... USN BB might be too slow for you to get used.Normally I would recommend IJN because they are solid all the way up with Amagi probably being the best pure Battleship in the game. The lessons I learned playing the Japanese made the Germans feel like easy mode. The other nationalities rely on Premium Battleships to prop up their numbers, otherwise their Tech Tree ships are not performing to the standards WG set with the German BBs.Isn't that statement more applicable to the German BB's than any other BB line? So im at a crossroad. [WOLF3] Brawling is more about the ability to exploit a weakness in the other team's line and push in to cause some chaos. Is it it's armor when brawling? This' seems counter intuitive, because you have to be aggressive when brawling and it's easy to get isolated, flanked or put out of position when attempting to close onto a target.
Angle! At tier 8 plus, every French BB is in the top 3 for its tier imo. Lack of armor is a bit of pain but it compensates with great accuracy What is happening is that there is a "feature" where if you are not aimed correctly at your locked target or don't have a target locked the game will automatically open up the dispersion pattern in order to try and "help" you hit stuff. The German armor is very resistant to citadels at medium to short ranges. It's not the best BB overall, but if you want to learn BB fundamentals, it is the one to grind and spend time in as it will teach you how to properly play.
You cannot really argue against solid beat down power. Bayern has very short range for a BB but she makes up for it with descent concealment and makes for a mean brawler. What you're mentioning is exactly what normally happens.
This works great for noobs that don't aim correctly in the first place but does not work well for players trying to anticipate course changes.
IJN BBs have a number of weaknesses... often terrible AA (well, high tiers are better now with the rework), bad armor... but very solid guns, generally.
The Montana is a great all around BB with excellent accuracy and excels at deleting Cruisers.
Izumos third turrent dosnt have good firing angle while Iowa allows u to use all three guns while angled. Much as it pains me? Perhaps the search should be "which tier has the most effective guns" not "accurate. I have written this so that people understand that you can pick any line and run with it. Yes, RNG is a role with all BB lines regardless.
Oh those secondaries. I have How to Play series for the entire USN and German BB lines: Almost all their BB's are fastest at their tier, and the later ones get DD-style speed boost.Their playstyle leans toward flanking rather than sitting and bow-tankingThe French and Japanese BBs are great to learn angling and decent firepower and USN are good but have some poor performers especially at T7 for example where your stuck at 20kts still but T8-10 they are solid ships too.
